In an advisory, the MMDA announced that the U-turn slot located near Corregidor Street will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Motorist from northbound going southbound were advised to take the U-turn slot after Dario Bridge in front of Landers.

Meanwhile, vehicles from southbound going northbound may take the U-turn slot at EDSA-Quezon Avenue flyover.

Last October 12, the MMDA closed the U-turn slot in front of Quezon City Academy to pave way for the EDSA Busway Project.

Before that, the agency closed the U-turn slot near Trinoma Mall and North Avenue last September 28.

The EDSA busway project designates the innermost lane of the metro’s main thoroughfare as an exclusive lane for buses travelling along the national highway.

"The eventual closure of U-turn slots along EDSA will make commuter travel through the EDSA Carousel easier, more convenient, and faster," MMDA Chairman Danilo Lim had earlier said.
