PBA confirms first COVID-19 case inside bubble


CLARK FREEPORT--The PBA has reported on Wednesday a suspect case of Covid-19 infection inside the bubble here. 

The suspect case is a referee who had his fourth RT-PCR/swab test on Monday, October 19. He is asymptomatic. 

All the other 27 officials who were tested with him came out negative. 

The referee is now under quarantine at the Athlete's Village in Capas, Tarlac while his contacts are under strict isolation and will be retested on Saturday, October 24.

Activities such as swimming, gym workouts and jogging inside the Quest Hotel, where the 350-man delegation resides, are temporarily suspended.
