Kylie Verzosa on 'live-in' setup with Jake Cuenca: 'So what?'

Beauty queen-turned-actress Kylie Verzosa admitted talk about her and boyfriend actor Jake Cuenca living together got on her nerves.

"Naiinis ako du'n kasi parang, 'Ano bang pakialam niyo,' 'di ba? Ganu'n eh, ganu'n ako mag-isip. So what? So 'yun," she shared at a recent online interview.

According to her, she has been independent since college and she thinks there's nothing wrong if she and Jake live under the same roof.

She noted how they are both "at the right age" and have work.

"And it's very hard to get where we are today," she related. "So I think siguro, sana ma-respect ng tao our decision because we are two very independent people who, you know, are just trying to be the best version of ourselves."

Kylie also pointed out that they're not hurting anyone so they should be spared from gossip.

"We're just trying to have fun with our lives. And I think hindi naman na kami teenybopper, hindi na kami younger 20s. I think... I hope people respect our decision with whatever decision we have with our lives. I think we're just two independent people and we're already of age. 'Yun lang po masasabi ko."

Note that, Kylie revealed that "for a period" they decided to stay together for around two to three months.

"Kasi quarantine, MECQ (Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine) and nalaman na mas nag extend quarantine, so 'yun," she said.

Though she noted they both have their respective condo unit located almost in the same building.

Asked what she discovered about Jake during the time, she said it is how caring the latter is when it comes to their dogs.

The two are proud parents of two fur babies: Nugget, a bulldog and Leo, a poodle.

Meanwhile, she also credited Jake for becoming her acting coach.

"Super helpful ni Jake sa career ko. I ask for his advice like 'Boo how do you do it? How should I do this, that,'" she shared.

The 28-year-old star admitted how she never thought her showbiz career would blossom after her pageantry stint.

"Hindi ko talaga siya na expect siya. Pero nu'ng una nahirapan talaga eko kasi bago," she recalled.

But thanks to her failures, it inspired and motivated her to always deliver her 100 percent and strive harder.

"If anything sobrang grateful ako na nabibigyan ako ng opportunity."

And blessings have been pouring, indeed.

Note that after the announcement that she'll be starring in a new movie titled "Parang Kayo, Pero Hindi" along with Xian Lim and Marco Gumabao, Kylie will also be back on TV through a series called "Ghost Adventures," now on its second season.

For the new season, famous Ghost Whisperer Par Jack (Benjie Paras) is in for more wacky and scary adventures.

In there, Ghost Whisperer Par Jack opens his new business, the Day Scare Center, to help the dead peacefully cross over to the afterlife. But aside from helping dead souls, he also has a mission and that is to look for his dead wife’s soul, whom he believes has become lost.

Helping Par Jack at the Day Scare Center are his two reliable sidekicks Nik (Pio Balbuena), who’s responsible for the ghost clients, and Bur (Billy Villeta), who handles the living clients.

The more souls Par Jack can help, the stronger his third eye will become, and the faster he can look for his dead wife’s lost soul.

Because of Par Jack’s Day Scare Center, the lazy Grim Reaper Kasper (Empoy Marquez) suddenly feels threatened. Kasper fears that he might lose his job because of Par Jack, and so he does everything he can to prevent Par Jack from helping souls cross to the afterlife.

Helping Kasper in his devious schemes are his loyal Grim Reaper trainees, Ghosting (Andrew Muhlach) and Multoni (Madz Red).

Meanwhile, because of a dead soul’s request to save his girlfriend from death, Par Jack will meet Luna (Kylie), a girl who will remind him of his dead wife.

Eventually, Luna will join the Day Scare Center and will become the official vlogger of their adventures.

Kylie and the other cast members promised "Ghost Adventures" will tickle the funny bone and warm hearts.

The show will premiere Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. on TV 5.
