Donald Glover, Michelle White welcome third baby

Singer-actor Donald Glover has revealed that he and wife Michelle White welcomed their third child amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Glover revealed the news to “I May Destroy You” creator Michaela Coel during their conversation for GQ Magazine.

“You know, I had during the coronavirus…it was nuts” Glover — also known as Childish Gambino — told Coel.

“I was in the hospital bed. My son had just been born, like, an hour before and I was watching the George Floyd video,” he added.

Glover said welcoming his son, right after watching the George Floyd video, was such an “intense, weird moment” for him.

“I’m watching that video and it’s like eight minutes long, so you’re sitting there and I had just had this amazing, joyful, expanding moment… I don’t even know what, really, the word is to describe it. It was just expanding: the empathy and compassion and the terror and the joy of it,” he added.

Glover, meanwhile said his son was named after his late father, Donald Glover Sr, who passed away in 2018.

Glover and White have two other sons, Legend and Drake.
