UST CCWLS HOLDS ITS FIRST EVER ONLINE NATIONAL WRITERS' WORKSHOP (2020)

The wait is finally over! 

The University of Santo Tomas Center for Creative Writing and Literary Studies (UST CCWLS) will be holding its annual National Writers' Workshop from November 9 to December 2, 2020, 5-8 PM via Zoom Conference for the first time in response to the coronavirus pandemic. 

We welcome the writing fellows: Elsie C. Albis (Dula; UST), Cat Aquino (Short Story, ADMU), Napoleon I. Arcilla, III (Maikling Kwento; Catanduanes State Colleges), Adelaimar C. Arias Jose (Short Story; UP), Rommel Fabros Bonus (Maikling Kwento; UP), Neil Angelo S. Cirilo (Sanaysay; Central Luzon State University), Kimberly Crisologo (Short Story; UST), Ralph Lorenz G. Fonte (Tula; UP), Carmel Ilustrisimo (Creative Nonfiction; UST), Ansherina May D. Jazul (Screeplay/Dula; PUP), Ma. Jhayle Ann Marie Z. Meer (Poetry; UP), Miguel Enrico C. Paala, III (Tula; UP), Pietros Val R. Patricio (Creative Nonfiction; DLSU), Gesuina Marie D. Puangco (Poetry; DLSU), Larry Boy B. Sabangan (Sanaysay; West Visayas State University).

They will be among senior guest panelists: Gémino Abad, Luna Sicat Cleto, and Jerry Grácio – whose participation was made possible through the sponsorship of The UST Varsitarian. 

This year's workshop director is Nerisa del Carmen Guevara and the coordinator is Dawn Laurente Marfil. 

The rest of the teaching panel from the UST CCWLS are as follows: Cristina Pantoja Hidalgo, director; Ralph Semino Galán, assistant director; and resident fellows Augusto Antonio Aguila, Ma. Ailil Alvarez, Paul Castillo, Joselito Delos Reyes, Nerisa del Carmen Guevara, Dawn Laurente Marfil, Jose Mojica, Ned Parfan, Chuckberry Pascual, John Jack Wigley, and Joselito Zulueta.
