Almost a year since he was crowned grand champion of "The Clash," young singer Jeremiah Tiangco now reveals some of the more inspiring words given to him by Rita Daniela and Julie Anne San Jose.

According to him, back when he was in the reality singing competition, the two, who were hosting the show, helped empower him by telling him to recall all the hardships he went through every time he goes on stage.

"Sinasabi nila po sa akin na 'yung audition, 'yun 'yung hard work. 'Yung workshop, 'yun 'yung hard work, sacrifices namin. So dapat daw po 'pag tumayo ka sa stage, kahit saang performance yan 'All-Out Sundays,' 'The Clash,' it's time to celebrate. I-celebrate mo 'yung hard work and sacrifices. That means na i-enjoy mo lang kung anong ginagawa mo sa stage. Enjoy your craft and all," he shared.

Jeremiah recently marked a new milestone in his music career, releasing his debut single “Titulo” under GMA Music.

The song, which tells the story of a relationship that eschews labels, is composed by veteran and renowned singer-composers Vehnee Saturno, Ebe Dancel, Jungee Marcelo, and Top Suzara.

Jeremiah is happy with his latest feat.

“I’ve been praying for this opportunity to be part of GMA Music. I am beyond blessed despite the pandemic. I have the opportunity to share my God-given talent in my simple way. I can share happiness through my music,” he said.

He shared the track is geared towards those in a situation where they are more than friends, but not actually lovers.

“This song will remind you of someone who was once special in your life. We meet a lot of people who would make us happy just for a short period of time but they leave a huge impact in our lives. They leave us with memories and lessons that will stay with us forever,” he explained. 

He promised it will warm the hearts of listeners. 

"Makaka-inspire ito sa mga kabataan na hugotera at hugotero. Ma-inspire silang aminin 'yung label ng relationship nila kung friends lang ba talaga sila."

We asked the Kapuso artist how the pandemic affected his artistry.

He answered, "Sobrang nagpapasalamat po ako sa pandemic na ito, personally kasi binigyan ako nito ng maraming time para i-improve ang sarili ko."

"Mas madami pa po akong na di-discover na alam ko pala, na kaya ko palang gawin. Ngayon mas nama-maximize ko ang artistry ko. Mas na i-improve ko pa ang sarili ko like 'pag play ng guitar and also singing," he added.

Jeremiah is hoping that he will able to collaborate with seasoned musicians in the near future.

First on the list are his Ates: Rita and Julie.

In any case, he also want to try acting. 

Well, if ever, it won't be that hard for him as he was once a theater actor.

Jeremiah was actually a member of Cultural Center of the Philippines' Philippine Opera Company.

"Minsan 'pag tinitingnan ko sila Ate Rita and Kuya Ken (Chan) 'pag uma-arte, naiisip ko na 'hala ano kayang feeling, kaya ko kaya?' So hopefully, pero for now mas gusto kong mag-focus sa music talaga."
