The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has shifted the application of provisional license for agencies, particularly  pre-licensing orientation seminar, online.

This move, POEA said, is to “further enhance existing license processing and contain the spread of the pandemic COVID-19.”

PLOS is pre-qualification requirement for the issuance of a license that should be attended by the applying agency’s Sole Proprietor or Proprietress, Managing Partner, President, Chief Executive Office, Operations Manager, Members of the Board Directors, and Branch Managers, to avoid incurring violations which can result to suspension or other penalties imposed on the agency.

POEA, in an advisory, is requiring the applicants who intend to participate in the online PLOS to submit their request letter to the Licensing Branch through the email [email protected], as well as fill out the PLOS application form at https://forms.gle/M6ecKzudSF26BQXN8. 

POEA noted that the order of payment with appointment schedule to pay will be sent to the email address of the applicant, which will also serve as a pass to enter the POEA premises for the payment of PLOS fee at the Cashier Division.

“A photocopy of the official receipt must be submitted to the Licensing Branch for the applicant to receive a confirmed schedule with the link to the online seminar and PLOS learning modules,” POEA said.

After the seminar, the POEA said that a scanned PLOS certificate “will be sent to the applicant’s email address” along with a notice of schedule to pick up the original copy in its main office.
