VP Leni showers Marjorie Barretto with compliments for her chicken recipe

Vice President Leni Robredo gave actress-politician Marjorie Barretto a thumbs up for her delicious Baked Chicken with Mashed Potato recipe!

Marjorie received a special shout out from VP Leni who appeared in G3 Cafe Instagram Live hosted by G3 San Diego recently. It started when G3 mentioned that Julia Barretto, daughter of Marjorie, was there.

VP Leni responds: "Hi Julia! Alam mo pina-follow ko siya (Julia) at saka si Marjorie, yung kanyang mom. In fact, ngayong gabi, yung niluto namin, 'yung Baked Chicken, ginaya namin sa recipe ni Marjorie. Sobrang sarap! Baked Chicken with Mashed Potato. Recipe niya iyon."

Marjorie said that she was very thrilled with the nice words of VP Leni. The actress-politician shared her excitement on Instagram.

"This is too special, I have to post. I was watching @g3cafe Instagram live last night, and it felt so UNREAL when I heard our dear Vice President mention my name. I was screaming so much, my 8yr old woke up Thank you Madame Vice President @lenirobredo The power of kind words. I was feeling low yesterday, and just right before sleeping, I watched this, it made me feel special. It made my vlogging journey so much more exciting. I’ve been replaying this over and over and I still feel so kilig️ God bless you VP LENI."
