Gal Gadot to star in new movie about Cleopatra

Paramount Pictures has announced that "Wonder Woman" star Gal Gadot and the film’s director Patty Jenkins will re-team up for the upcoming movie about Egypt’s most recognizable queen.

Reports say that the Film Company won over Universal Pictures, Warner Bros, Apple and Netflix for the rights to the project.

Gadot now ranks herself up with Claudette Colbert and Elizabeth Taylor who all portrayed Cleopatra on the silver screen.

Laeta Kalogridis of the “Shutter Island” fame will write the screenplay for the movie.
