The call of adventure is now easy to answer as Royal Enfield, distributed locally by Hardcore Brothers Custom Motorcycles, Inc., gets timely updates for the 2021 model year.

The lightweight adventure bike, launched in 2017, was unique in its segment, allowing it to quickly gain market while competitors focused on larger displacements.

To keep up its head start, Royal Enfield is introducing new colors, Euro-4 compliant engines, and ABS fitted as standard to offer discerning riders more choice.

The Himalayan is still offered the current colors, Snow White and Granite Black. To expand its palette, it is adding four new colors which include the camouflage Sleet Grey and Gravel Grey with a satin finish, and dual-tone colors, Lake Blue and Rock Red.

The Himalayan is powered by a 411cc air-cooled SOHC engine. It produces 24.5 horsepower and 32 Nm of torque. Besides the new colors, the Himalayan, one of its top-selling models, is now also Euro-4 compliant. ABS is fitted as standard.

Best of all, the Himalayan starts at an accessible price point of PhP 299,000.

“The Philippines is one of the promising markets for Royal Enfield,” said Vimal Sumbly, Head – APAC Business markets. “It has been our constant endeavor to build greater accessibility for discerning customers. We have sold over 400 Himalayans in the country and have received excellent feedback on this adventure tourer from Royal Enfield.”

“This product will appeal to adventure enthusiasts and two wheeler intenders alike,” said Jimmy D.L. Barinaga , President & CEO, Hardcore Brothers Custom Motorcycles, Inc., Philippine distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles.

The new colors are now available at all local Royal Enfield dealers.
