The Enchanted Kingdom theme park in Santa Rosa City, Laguna is opening its gates to the public this month.
Enchanted Kingdom shared the announcement on its Facebook page Friday: "Welcoming you back to our kingdom this October!"
Enchanted Kingdom is a top tourist destination in the city of Santa. Rosa – the first and only theme park in the country.
The theme park management thanked Santa Rosa, Laguna officials led by Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas, and representatives of the Department of Tourism, the Department of Trade and Industry, and the Department of Labor and Employment.
Mayor Arcillas inspected the amusement park in September to see its readiness for the new normal.
"Making sure when we open, safety and health protocols are in place #safetyfirstbeforeexperiencingthemagic," she wrote.
The date of reopening has yet to be disclosed.
Laguna is now under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).
