Jia Morado engaged to longtime boyfriend

Volleyball star and former Ateneo setter Jia Morado announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Miguel De Guzman on social media Thursday.

“On October 1, at exactly 11:11 am, my wish came true,” Morado posted.

A picture of her showing off her engagement ring with De Guzman by her side accompanied the post.

Morado and De Guzman have been dating since their collegiate years.

Last April, the couple held a fundraiser on Facebook called “Every Little Thing Counts” to fund personal protective equipment for health workers and volunteers battling the pandemic. The program has actually raised more than P1 million worth of sales and donations.
