Janine Berdin on transformation: 'Do things that make you happy'

Janine Berdin was recently asked about her transformation, among hot topics of late in social media.

In an episode of "C U in 10," the young singer maintained it's all about making herself happy.

"Do something to make yourself happy kasi minsan lang, you only live once nga 'di ba," she related. 

She added, "Kasi kapag hindi ka masaya sa sarili mo, mag-re-reflect. Kasi nakikita ko sa mga post ko dati, mga videos ko, nakikita ko din kung gaano ako ka self conscious and now when I look up my photos now, nakikita to all the videos I take, parang ang saya. Nakikita ko na ang saya ko na, ang saya ko na sa sarili ko."

Janine then encouraged fans and supporters to not be afraid of change. 

"Let's not condemn change," she said. "Kung may gustong mag-change, ipa-change mo sila. Bahala sila." 

Fellow celebrities Dawn Chang and Rhap Salazar came to defend Janine after her facial transformation received mixed reaction.

"Support kita all the way. Lamo yan," Dawn said.

Meanwhile, Rhap said, "Janine Berdin is beautiful. Her body, her choice."
