CSC to close central office for two days due to new COVID-19 cases

The Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) central office in Quezon City will be temporarily closed from October 8 to 9 for disinfection.

CSC Commissioner Aileen Lizada told DZMM Teleradyo that there have been new reported cases of COVID-19 in its central office.

“As part of precaution, the central office shall undertake disinfection measures,” Lizada said.

The public was urged to visit CSC’s website for the different online services which they can avail.

“Continue pa rin po ang trabaho, online nga lang po (Our work will continue, it’s just that it will be online),” Lizada said.

Nationwide, Lizada said CSC has recorded 32 COVID-19 cases, three of which are active cases, and 29 recoveries.

In its central office, 18 CSC personnel have tested positive for COVID-19, and 16 have recovered.
