New Godzilla anime series coming to Netflix

Neflix has ordered a new series centering on the classic Japanese monster, Godzilla.

"Godzilla Singular Point," will reportedly premiere on the streaming service next year.

The animated series is a collaboration between Anime studio Bones and studio Orange.

"Godzilla Singular Point" will combine hand-drawn and CG animation styles.

The new installation will be directed by Atsushi Takahashi ("Doraemon the Movie 2017: Great Adventure in the Antarctic Kachi Kochi").

Netflix previously debuted three Godzilla anime films: "Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters," "Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle," and "Godzilla: The Planet Eater."

The first was released in 2017, while the second two premiered in 2018.

Japanese film studio Toho Company first introduced Godzilla in 1954, since then, the character has appeared in various films and numerous video games, novels, comic books, and television shows.
