Bailey May opens up about his love life

In a rare instance, young star Bailey May has opened up about his love life.

“Meron po, pero sikreto ‘yun," said Bailey when asked about the girl who inspires him these days, during an interview on "Cinema News Home Edition."

Asked to give more details about the girl, the18-year-old singer-actor said: “Maganda siya sa loob at siyempre sa labas.”

Rather than going deep on his personal level, Bailey decided to talk about his journey on being with global pop group Now United.

Last month, Bailey thanked Simon Fuller on his third year with the international group Now United composed of 15 members of different nationalities.

“Masaya naman po, we’re all pretty young, so madali lang naman to get along with them we have the same passion po, pag kanta, pagsayaw so madali lang naman po, we’re like a family. Pamilya po kami,” he said.

Despite the pandemic, they're still undergoing training, Bailey said.

“Now United po, nasa Dubai po sila mga 5 sila doon, pero we’re still shooting for our YouTube channels in our home countries. Music videos, mga content lang, and then we sent to the editors sa LA,” he shared. “Yung training po, nagsisend po sila ng mga videos, and then we learned sa bahay lang from the video."

For now, Bailey said that the most memorable experience he had with the group was during their stint in the Olympics in Abu Dhabi.

“Siguro ‘yung Olympics po sa Abu Dhabi, Olympics sobrang saya, kasi ang laki ng Olympics the whole world is on Olympics and it was so amazing kasi ang daming tao sa stadium. You know the royal family? They watched it and they hosted it,” he said.

While making waves abroad, Bailey said that his heart is still in the Philippines.

“Siyempre po, I started sa Philippines. Without the Philippines I wouldn’t be where I am now and siyempre Pinoy ako. I’m Filipino, I represent the Philippines in Now United. So siyempre I’d love to come back and be in my country and share I what I have to everybody."
