Kapamilya shows make free TV comeback via ZOE TV Channel 11


It's all systems go for some Kapamilya shows to be shown on ZOE TV Channel 11.

On Kapamilya Online World Facebook Oct. 5, it was announced that the popular noontime program "It's Showtime" can be seen on Oct. 10 and ASAP on Oct. 11 on ZOE TV.

ZOE TV is a free TV channel which televiewers can watch no matter what cable provider they use. Televiewers can watch Zoe TV / Light TV on ABS-CBN TVPlus on different Channels depending on their place where it is available. Sky Channel 11 and Signal TV (Ch. 183).

No official statement has been released by both networks. But one of the Facebook sites for the Kapamilya network known as the Kapamilya Online World believed that a Blocktimer Agreement has been reached between ABS-CBN and ZOE TV Channel for the airing of the two live programs..

Also, two cable companies Cignal TV and SKYCable welcomed ZOE TV to its newest channel addition this month.

"The channel is poised to widen its reach on cable TV along with the highly anticipated free TV comeback of Kapamilya Channel TV Shows. As a starter, it will showcase most-loved live shows #ItsShowtime and #ASAPNatinTo this October," a statement said.

Zoe Broadcasting Network occupies frequencies on both analog and digital television and is expected to transmit Kapamilya contents starting this month.

"ABS-CBN TV Plus owners are set to enjoy this channel as well. Reception per region varies but this is already a major step after 70 congress representatives voted to kill the network's franchise last July," it added.

Fans earlier speculated that Kapamilya programs would be seen on ZOE TV after SkyCable, an affiliate of ABS-CBN, added Zoe TV Channel 11 to its channel line-up based on the cable firm’s advisory.

On May 5, the National Telecommunications Commission issued a cease and desist order against ABS-CBN due to expired franchise. The major broadcast network was ordered to stop its television and radio operations.

Zoe Broadcasting Network, Inc. (Zoe) is presently in its 28th year of Christian, family-oriented and wholesome television and radio broadcasting, according to its website.
