Nexplay Solid exacted its sweet revenge against Execration, 2-1, in the rematch of crowd favorites in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League-Philippines (MPL-PH) Season 6 on Friday night.

NXP went on a searing start to the series before closing it out in the decider behind prodigy John Paul "H2wo" Salonga as the team of stream sensation Akosi Dogie avenged its defeat to Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso's crew back in the third week.

But Bien "Mb" Esquillo did not agree that it was a retribution for NXP.

"Paanong nakabawi ba? Nakabawi raw kami sa Execration. Chamback lang 'yon (first encounter), bawi ba yon?" Mb said in the post-match interview.

"Nag-prepare ba tayo? Nag-tiktok lang kami. Parang normal na RG (ranked game) lang. Parang +5 sa RG. Nag-RG lang po kami. Si YAWI (Tristan Cabrera) nag-Selena parang RG lang sa MPL eh," he added.

NXP unleashed a strong start in Game 1 with Renejay "RENEJAY" Barcarse's Thamuz and H2wo's Lancelot picking off the squishy Natalia of Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog and Pharsa of Patrick James "E2MAX" Caidic.

Mb's Gatotkaca caught three XctN players with Avatar of the Guardian to help NXP prevail in a clash in the river area and seal the Lord kill en route to a lopsided 22-7 victory.

Nexplay had another early lead in Game 2 but Execration won a big team fight in the fifth minute as Ch4knu's Atlas delivered a three-man Fatal Links to turn the tides of the battle.

Exe never lost hold of the momentum from there, winning clash after clash with Jeff Lenjesson "S4gitnu" Subang's Yu Zhong leading the charge.

Exe had a surprise Franco pick for Ch4knu but that did not work out well against NXP's clash-oriented lineup led by captain Chester "Chester" Gonzales' Akai and Mb's X.Borg.

H2wo's Roger then provided the much-needed damage as NXP dominated a team fight and secured the Lord kill in the 11th minute.
It was game over for Execration from then on.

NXP improved to 13 points but stayed at No. 4 in Group A, while XctN broke a tie with idle Blacklist International at No. 2 for the meantime with 18 points.
