MMA star Angela Lee announces pregnancy

It's a dream come true for mixed martial arts star Angela Lee as she embraces motherhood.

The ONE Championship atomweight queen announced Friday on social media that she is pregnant with her first child, posting photos of her holding a pregnancy test kit taken a few weeks back that indicates a positive result.

"This is seriously a dream come true. Becoming a Mom, has always been my ultimate goal; Worth more to me any amount of championship gold," wrote Lee on Instagram.

â£"The best things come at the most unexpected times. Baby made sure to surprise us just as I was in the best shape of my life.

â£"I truly believe that everything has own perfect time and place. Baby, we feel so blessed that you chose to surprise us now. We can't wait to be your parents," said the 24-year-old fighter from Evolve MMA.

In a separate Instagram post, Lee revealed that she is now 11 weeks pregnant and is due on April 21 next year and that they keeping it secret for about a month and a half now.

Together with her husband Bruno Pucci, the couple is excited to embark on a new chapter of their life as parents.

Lee married Pucci, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belter, in 2018.
