4.6-magnitude quake hits Pangasinan


A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Pangasinan on Friday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.

The earthquake, which occurred at 2:56 p.m., was tectonic in origin and was traced 15 kilometers northwest of Infanta, Pangasinan.

The quake had a depth of 23 km, with the following instrumental intensity: Intensity III - Dagupan City, Pangasinan

No damage and aftershocks are expected from the tremor.
