DAGUPAN CITY -- All residents outside Pangasinan who wish to enter Dagupan City will be required to register online to avoid delays in checkpoints .

The implementation of online registration will start on October 12 to help the city control the transmission of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) .
Mayor Marc Brian Lim issued the advisory as part of the new guidelines for entering Dagupan City.
Those coming from outside Pangasinan are required to individually register online at gopangasinan.ph prior to their travel to Dagupan City.
This will generate a QR code which will be presented at the border checkpoint of Dagupan for verification.
Those who wish to enter the city should also present their government issued IDs and other documents along with the QR code.
The advisory said: “Upon arrival at the border checkpoint of Dagupan, persons coming from outside Pangasinan shall be required to show their QR code whether from their mobile phones or in printed form for verification and more importantly, a PCR test result indicating they are negative for COVID-19 or non-reactive to rapid antibody-based test, or non-antigen test result.”
Failure to register online and present the necessary documents for travel to the province will bar them from entering.
Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) entering Dagupan should also register online prior to their travel to Dagupan City and generate a QR code for purposes of documentation.
“In the absence of a QR code and in case of exigency, the APOR may be allowed entry to Dagupan only for that particular trip upon presentation of a valid government ID, and either a certificate of employment or travel order from his/her employer at the border checkpoint. They shall be required to register online prior to their next travel to the city,” the advisory said.
