DFA consular office in SM Megamall closed today for disinfection

Operations in the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office in NCR-East (CO NCR-East) in SM Megamall will be temporarily suspended on Monday, Sept. 28.

In an advisory, the DFA said the closure of the office is due to the disinfection of its premises and “implementation of other preventive measures to manage and prevent risks of COVID-19.”

Operations in the CO NCR-East will resume Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Applicants who have scheduled appointments on the day of the temporary closure are advised to secure a new appointment date via email, through [email protected].

The email must contain the following information:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Original appointment date and time
  • Preferred date and time of new appointment

“The preferred new appointment may be on any working day (Monday to Friday) from 29 September to 29 October 2020 during the CO’s regular operation hours (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM),” the DFA said.

Those who might need urgent or emergency consular services from the CO NCR-East may also email their request.
