Coleen Garcia celebrates first b-day as a mom

Becoming a mother made Coleen Garcia appreciate the significance of her birthday.

Apparently, she never really cared much about it until the arrival of her and husband Billy Crawford's first child.

Note she shares the same birth month with son Amari, whom they welcome to the world last Sept. 10.

As she turned 28 last Sept. 24, Coleen expressed her gratitude for the gift of family. 

"It’s all I really need. (heart emoji)," she declared.

"Thank you for all the birthday greetings, and for making me feel extra loved today! I haven’t had much time for anything other than catering to our baby, but this time has been special, and I know it’s gonna go by so fast," she also wrote. 

She noted that she's still trying to adjust—physically, mentally, and emotionally—to what feels like a whole new life.

"So I’ve kind of been in my own little bubble lately. The past couple of weeks have been challenging, but I’m so so thankful, and I feel incredibly blessed and determined to be the best I can be," she related. 

Meanwhile, Billy posted a heart warming birthday message for his wife on his social media account.

Billy started by greeting his "everything," a happy birthday.

"Your life has been so colorful and time and time again you always shock the world! You are the toughest, strongest, smartest, beautiful, wonderful, I mean, I can go on and on and on. But I really just want to thank you for everything! Apart from the obvious, sacrificing everything to give us a healthy, beautiful family. I praise God for you," he said. 

The singer also shared how Coleen thinks it is something "super special" to share the same birth month with their son.

"We owe you our lives. Please do enjoy this special day. If it ain’t special for you, it’s special for all of us who love you and care for you! I love you so so much. Happy, happy birthday my Queen," he ended his post.

The two tied the knot in a beach wedding in 2018.

Coleen and Billy met as co-host of the noontime show "It's Showtime."
