WATCH: Maris Racal releases new song on b-day

Young star Maris Racal celebrated her 23rd birthday with the release of her new single titled "Not For Me."

"Finally! I have been dying to share this secret with you for months," she wrote on Instagram.

"Celebrate with me by listening to my gift for you, a song that I have worked so hard on," she added.

The music video for the same, which has been uploaded on her YouTube channel, was received warmly by fans.

On the description box, Maris is credited as lyricist of the song, which Rico Blanco arranged/produced.

The chorus goes: "But what if I don’t / Where do I go home / I know it’s my fault / And I leave tomorrow / Your love is a song / Can’t stop singing it / Your love is just too pretty / But it’s not for me."
