'The Croods: A New Age' unveils trailer

After surviving dangers and disasters, well-loved prehistoric family the Croods return to face their biggest challenge: another family — The Bettermans.

DreamWorks has unveiled the trailer for the sequel to the hit animated film titled “The Croods: New Age.”

The Bettermans — with their elaborate tree house, amazing inventions, and irrigated across of fresh produce — take the Croods as their houseguests as the latter search for “a safer place to call home” and it isn’t long before tensions escalate between the cave family and the modern family.

“This film may be crazy, epic, comedy-adventure, but at its heart, it’s about two very different families discovering that their future is brighter together,” said director Joel Crawford in an interview with Variety.

Returning for “The Croods: A New Age” are Nicolas Cage (Grug), Catherine Keener (Ugga), Emma Stone (Eep), Clark Duke (Thunk), and Cloris Leachman (Gran).

The sequel will be released on Nov. 25, but is scheduled to premiere in Philippine cinemas next year.
