Malacañang has warned a regional official of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to "shape up" amid allegations of corruption.

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque did not identify the LTO regional director in the Visayas but told him to "clean up" and rectify his wrongdoing.
"Mayroon po akong isang malaking anomalya na baka isumbong na kay (Transportation) Secretary (Arthur) Tugade dito po sa Visayas, pero pinagbibigyan muna po natin iyong tao na affected na i-rectify iyong kaniyang mga pagkakamali (I may report a huge anomaly to Secretary Tugade in the Visayas but we will give the person a chance to rectify his mistake)," he said during a televised press briefing Monday.
"Diyan po sa Visayas, iyong isang kurakot na regional director – Clean up po (In the Visayas, there is a corrupt regional director, better clean up) because the President will not tolerate corruption, not even a whiff of corruption. And I think he knows who he is," he said.
Roque cautioned those thinking that he was speaking without authority from President Duterte on the issue of corruption. He maintained that the President, who has previously fired officials over allegations of graft and abuse, has "zero tolerance for corruption."
"I’m warning po that LTO Regional Director in the Visayas shape up po dahil the President will never tolerate corruption no matter kung saan level po iyan," he said.
Roque made the remarks when asked about the alleged anomalies in the LTO including about the issuance of license plates and RFID stickers.
