The decomposing body of a man found on the roof a house in Caloocan City Friday sustained several gunshot wounds, according to his family.

The victim, identified as Paul Martin Camballa Millanes, had been missing for four days until his corpse was discovered Friday, according to his brother, Jhay Millanes, in a Twitter post.
“Kung nakanuod po kayo ng balita... nakita n’yo po siguro yung bangkay sa bubong. Kuya ko po yung tinutukoy dun, si Paul Martin Camballa Millanes. Binaril ng ilang beses sa ‘di namin malaman na dahilan (If you watched the news, perhaps you saw the corpse on the roof of a house. He's my brother, Paul Martin Camballa Millanes. He was shot several times and we do not know why),” Jhay said.
Millanes, who lives in Phase 1 in Bagong Silang, was almost unrecognizable when his body was taken from the roof of a house in Phase 8. His body was bloated and his face was swollen.
Interviewed by 24 Oras, Riena Sison, the owner of the house where Millanes was found, said they heard three gunshots on Monday but did not know where it came from.
"Noong Lunes ng gabi, may bumagsak di naman pinansin. Akala namin, pusa lang (On Monday evening, we heard something fall on our roof. We did not mind it thinking it was only a cat)," Sison added.
Witnesses reportedly saw Millanes being chased by two motorcycle-riding men who fired at him when he tried to escape by climbing on the roof of houses when he was cornered.
The Caloocan City Police is still investigating the incident.
The victim’s family is asking the public for financial assistance as they cannot afford the P35,000 cremation service.
"Walang trabaho ngayon ang mama at papa ko at hindi po namin alam kung saan namin kukunin ang ganong kalaking halaga ng pera. Maliit o malaking donasyon ay buong puso po naming tatanggapin (My parents are jobless and we do not know where to get that big amount. We would gratefully accept any small or big donation)," Jhay said on Twitter.
