Xian Lim to direct educational puppetry film series for CCP

Xian Lim proudly shared on social media his latest directorial project, Cultural Center of the Philippines' "MALA (Movies Adapted from Literary Arts)" which forms part of "Sining Sigla," a virtual outreach program that aims to bring the arts to the masses amid the pandemic.

On Instagram, the actor-singer-director shared how "honored and proud" he is to be part of the project.

The first two installments of the series include an adaptation of “Ibong Adarna,” which will premiere in October; and “Florante At Laura,” which will debut in November. 

Joining Xian in the project is ventriloquist Ony Carcamo, as with Aina Ramolete, renowned shadow play and puppet designer.
