Corpse found on roof in Caloocan

A bloated corpse of a man was found on the roof of a house in Caloocan City Friday morning by residents who were disturbed by a foul smell.

Ronnie Buendia, of Phase 8 Barangay Bagong Silang, said they do not know how the corpse ended on the roof of his neighbor’s house although his family heard a thud and a voice from an unknown direction Sunday.

A gunshot was likewise heard in the neighborhood Sunday.

Since then they experienced a stinking smell that became intolerable Friday.

Buendia said a neighbor saw the bloated corpse from his terrace.

Buendia gathered that the victim was at the birthday celebration of his father Sunday.  The victim reportedly did not return after he left.
