K-pop boy bands BTS, NCT, ATEEZ and EXO became the most tweeted about musicians in the US during the quarantine period.
Twitter provided Manila Bulletin Entertainment with the Twitter From Home trend report with the list of most tweeted about musicians, movies, TV shows and food, and emoji trends in the US from March 1 to Sept. 1, 2020 compared to tweet volumes during the same period last year.
BTS emerged as the No. 1 most tweeted about musician in the US during quarantine with Twitter noting that K-pop continued to reign supreme under the pandemic.
Four of the top 15 tweeted about artists were K-pop groups, Twitter said. In the top 15 list, BTS took first place and NCT placed No. 6 while ATEEZ grabbed No. 8 and EXO took the No. 11 spot.
