K-pop superstars BTS’ hit all-English single “Dynamite” grabbed the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in its third week.

BTS made history when “Dynamite,” released on Aug. 21, topped the Hot 100 chart, becoming the first Korean act to achieve the feat. It spent two weeks at No. 1 on the chart.

For the third week, Billboard reported that the song “tops Digital Song Sales for a third week (136,000 downloads sold, down 25 percent), falls 9-16 on Streaming Songs (13.3 million, down 24 percent) and becomes the group's first career entry on Radio Songs, debuting at No. 49 (18.3 million, up 14 percent).”

“Dynamite” sold 136,000 downloads in the third week after selling 265,000 and 182,000 downloads in the first and second weeks, respectively.

Billboard added that "’Dynamite’ is the first song to have sold over 136,000 downloads in three consecutive weeks since The Chainsmokers' ‘Closer’ (featuring Halsey), which reached that level in five straight weeks in September-October 2016.”

"’Dynamite’ is additionally the first song to have sold over 136,000 downloads in its first three weeks of release (unlike "Closer") since Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!," which hit that mark in its first five frames in May-June 2016,” it said.

In addition, “Dynamite” ranked No. 2 in the inaugural results of Billboard’s two new charts:  Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global 200 Excluding US.

"Dynamite" grabbed the second spot on Billboard Global 200 with 83.4 million streams and 36,000 downloads sold while it is also No. 2 on Billboard Global 200 Excluding US with 70.9 million streams and 15,000 downloads sold.

Based on worldwide streams and download sales, “Billboard Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide songs while Billboard Global Excl. U.S. focuses on all territories outside the United States,” according to Billboard. “Both collate sales and streaming data from more than 200 territories, with rankings based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of leading digital platforms, and downloads from key online music retailers.”

Since its release, “Dynamite” has set records on YouTube, Spotify and Billboard. YouTube declared “Dynamite” as the new No. 1 most viewed music video in the first 24 hours of release with 101.1 million views.

As a result, Guinness World Records announced that “Dynamite” has set three new world records for the most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours, most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours and the most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group.
