The Pasig City government has improved the online application system of its scholarship program to prevent it from crashing.

“Pasensiya na po at nag-down ang link natin for application (We apologize for the glitch in the application system). We are upgrading the drive to 100GB now,” Mayor Vico Sotto posted on Facebook.
“Please extend your patience as we try this online-based application system,” he added.
Sotto earlier reported that the city hit a new record in the number of scholars under the Pasig City Scholarship Program with 18,000 students for school year 2020 - 2021.
The city government earlier opened an online application form for new applications and renewal of the scholarship grant.
The online application forms may be accessed through bit.ly/pasigscholarshipapplication for new applicants, and bit.ly/pasigscholarshiprenewal for renewals.
Applicants may also submit their printed application forms in drop boxes located at public elementary schools and high schools in the city or at the Pasig City Scholars Office.
The city earlier increased its scholarship fund to cover 3,000 indigent students enrolled in private schools in the city.
“We will advance the entire semester’s or first five months of the monthly stipend so that they can use the entire amount to help pay for their tuition or buy a gadget,” Sotto said.
