Following the installation of a colorful mural at the newly rehabilitated Lagusnilad underpass, the city government enhanced Plaza Hugo in Sta. Ana, Manila with another mural. Â

The mural depicts Filipino tradition, culture, and arts. The iconic Manila Clock Tower is painted at the center.
Dancers performing some of the country's folk dances, such as Tinikling, Pandanggo, and Maglalatik, are painted on one side of the mural along with the Manila Metropolitan Theater.
The mural also showcases the Sto. Niño, the Binondo Church, and a devotee praying.
Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso on Saturday said members of Task Force Public Recreations Bureau (PRB) painted the mural themselves.
Domagoso earlier said they want to bring art to public spaces to promote public awareness of Filipino culture, tradition, and arts.
"Isang mas maganda, mas kaaya-aya at mas maayos na Plaza Hugo ang naghihintay para sa inyo, mga kapwa ko Batang Maynila (A more beautiful, more pleasant, and more orderly Plaza Hugo awaits you, my fellow Manileños)!" the Manila mayor posted on Facebook Saturday.
"Libre pong mapapasyalan ang Plaza Hugo ngunit paalala lang po sa lahat na sana ay panatilihin natin ang ganda at kaayusan ng pasilidad at higit dito, mag-iingat po tayo kung pupunta sa Plaza sapagkat nananatili ang banta ng COVID-19 sa ating lungsod (Plaza Hugo is open to the public but I hope you will maintain the beauty and orderliness of this facility. More than this, let us be careful when going to the plaza because the threat of the coronavirus disease remains in our city)," he added.
