Vice President Leni Robredo on Tuesday shared how she took on another job as a “videographer” when one of her daughters celebrated another milestone in her career.

Robredo, on her personal Facebook page, shared a video of her daughter Tricia as she attended a virtual Conferment of Degrees. “Apologies for the quality of the video,” the VP wrote in jest. “I was the videographer and I took it from my phone,” she added.
Tricia, whose complete name is Janine Patricia, is the second daughter of VP Leni and her late husband, former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo. She graduated from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health and completed her internship at The Medical City in July.
“Tricia said it's not yet their Graduation because they are going to have a real one when all this is over,” Robredo said. “We were told only before the weekend that it was going to happen today and, today, being an office day, I suggested that she attends the zoom event at my office so that we could all be with her,” she added.
Robredo said that the schedule worked out since her eldest daughter, Aika, does volunteer work at the Office of the Vice President (OVP) on Tuesdays and Fridays. Aika is a graduate of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
“Everything worked well,” Robredo shared. “It was a very important milestone for all of us because we saw how Tricia defied all odds to reach this point,” she added.
As she juggles her time between her duties as a Vice President - among others - Robredo remains as a proud mom as she continues to share the feats and achievements of her daughters.
In a separate post, VP Leni also shared how she will start adjusting to the schedule of her “roommate” - her youngest daughter Jillian - as she starts her junior year at home.
“Channeling some school spirit as she starts her junior year from home, more than 8,000 miles away,” Robredo said. “School starts at 9pm and ends at 4.45am. We’re roommates, so, good luck to me,” she added. Jillian is taking up Biomolecular Science under New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering.
