Angel Locsin talks about being cheated on: 'Darating ang panahon tatawanan mo na lang'

Actress Angel Locsin has a lot to say when it comes to cheating.

When the 35-year-old star was asked by writer G3 San Diego in a recent interview if she already experienced being cheated on, Angel answered, "Lahat tayong mga kakababaihan, either sa serious relationship man o hindi, naka-experience nu'ng ganu'ng mga bagay."

Not that she is still bitter about it.

"Kung dati kinasusuklaman ko, ngayon, hindi naman ako thankful, hindi naman grateful pero siguro na appreciate ko na napagdaanan ko 'yung ganu'ng klaseng journey kasi nagagamit ko siya sa craft ko eh," she explained.

Locsin admitted she cried a lot when she was cheated on but she laughs about it now.

"Dati pakamatay ka na sa pain pero darating ang panahon na tatawanan mo na lang," she reiterated.

Of course, it helped that she found someone new to love.

"'Pag nahanap mo na 'yung tao para sayo mare-realize mo na how petty 'yung mga pinagdaanan mo. Dati 'di ko maintindihan 'yung advice nila na tatawanan ko na lang. Naiinis nga ako na 'Sino ka para sabihing tatawanan eh hurt na hurt ako?' Pero totoo pala."

Locsin also reminded other women not to blame themselves if and when these things happen.

"Karamihan sa kababaihan 'pag niloko, sinisisi sarili. 'Yung ganu'ng gawain, hindi mo fault 'yun. Hindi mo fault na masama 'yung ugali nu'ng isa. Hindi mo fault kung walang loyalty 'yung isa," she pointed out.

"Totoo na sa isang problema dalawang tao 'yung involved pero sa kasalanan isa na lang 'yun. 'Pag mali, mali pa rin," she continued. "Maraming babae na bubulag sa 'baka kasi ganito, kasalanan ko, ganyan, kaya ako niloko' pero hindi. Mangloloko, mangloloko talaga. 'Yung lang 'yun."

Note that prior to her engagement with Neil Arce, Locsin and former flame Luis Manzano were embroiled in controversy with the latter supposedly making sweet music with actress Jessy Mendiola while still in a relationship with the "Darna" star.
