The Department of Foreign Affairs on Thursday reported 43 new recoveries and only 1 confirmed case among Filipinos abroad with no new fatalities anywhere.
In its latest report on COVID-19 cases involving Filipino nationals worldwide, the DFA said the new recoveries were recorded in Europe while the lone confirmed case was reported in Asia and the Pacific.
As of September 3, 2020, the total number of COVID-19 infections among overseas Filipinos is 10,097.
Of the total, 6,220 have recovered, 3,120 are undergoing treatment or considered live cases, and 757 deaths due to coronavirus infections.
The Middle East/Africa remains as the combined regions with the biggest number of confirmed cases (6,975), deaths (476), and recoveries (4,164).
