Curfew hours in San Juan city will start at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. starting September 2.
Mayor Francis Zamora, citing a city ordinance said anyone who violates the curfew will be fined the amount of P1,000 or render four hours of community service depending on the task given by the City Environment and Natural Resources. Second and subsequent offenders will be fined the amount of P5,000 or render eight hours of community service.
The liquor ban was likewise lifted but drinking of alcoholic beverages are allowed only inside the homes with strict compliance to physical distancing.
Those who drink in public places will be arrested.
The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has allowed the following businesses to operate: tutorial and review centers, gyms, fitness centers and sport facilities, internet cafés (for educational purposes only), dermatological clinics offering aesthetic procedures, other personal care services and drive-in cinemas.
