Indang, Cavite rural health unit closes due to COVID-19

INDANG, Cavite - The municipality's Rural Health Unit (RHU) office was temporarily closed on Tuesday after one of its employees tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Despite the temporary office closure, the RHU proceeded with its scheduled swab testing in the Poblacion IV covered court. All other transactions were canceled.

The RHU office will remain closed until Wednesday, Aug. 26, to give way to the disinfection of the facility.

As of Aug. 24, the municipality has recorded 121 COVID-19 cases, with 88 recoveries, and one death. (Carla Bauto Dena)
