9,131 students to get P3K from Pasay LGU

A total of 9,131 elementary and high school students from three public schools will receive P3,000 financial assistance starting Aug. 26 to Sept. 1 as part of the Financial Assistance to Students Program (FASP) of the Pasay City government.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the P3,000 financial aid covers the P1,000 monthly allowance of the students from January to March of school year 2019-2020.

Rubiano said the beneficiaries will come from Marcela Marcelo Elementary School with 1,706 students, Pasay City East High School with 4,385, and Pasay City South High School with 3,040.

Rubiano called on the students and their parents to coordinate with their respective school officials for the date of the distribution of the financial aid and bring with them the necessary requirements.

The mayor said the city government is also preparing for the distribution of the financial aid for the remaining almost 10,000 students.

Rubiano said the city government already finished the distribution of FASP to about 36,892 students coming from 22 public schools in the city.
