We’re expecting an upcoming bubbly rom-com Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol on Aug. 26 on Netflix.

Miss Hammurabi and Reply 1994’s Go Ara teams up with Lee Jae Wook who recently won Best New Actor in the 2019 MBC Drama Awards for his role in Extraordinary You.

Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, to be directed by Kim Min-Kyeong, is a heart flutterer about a lovable pianist named Gu Ra-ra (played by Go Ara), whose life hits rock bottom due to family financial problems. She goes to a small private piano academy in a country village and meets a mysterious gruff guy named Sunwoo Jun (played by Lee Jae Wook). The story is written by Oh Ji Young.

In the trailer, we see a bubbly Go Ara as she aegyos her way into Lee Jae Wook, and we also get a peek into what else to expect in the upcoming K-Drama. The cast had their first script reading in May in South Korea.

Unfortunately, Korean actors Seo Sung-jong and Heo Dong-won who are both part of the series tested positive for Covid-19, which has made the production team take a break from filming as of Aug 20.

Go Ara’s agency, Artist Company, has released a statement on the same day: “Go Ara will be tested for Covid-19 when she arrives in Seoul.”

The first episode will be available on Netflix, on Aug. 26, at 10 p.m. PST, same day as it airs on KBS2 in Korea. New episodes are set to be released every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 p.m. KST.

Wishing Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol’s actors Seo Sung-Jong, Heo Dong-won, and seasoned actor Kim Won-hae, who also tested positive, a speedy recovery.
