Warner Bros unveiled on Sunday the first teaser trailer for the movie "The Batman" starring Robert Pattinson.

The two-minute trailer introduces few key characters, including Jeffrey Wright (James Gordon, Zoe Kravitz (Selina Kyle/Catwoman), and Andy Serkies (Alfred).
Directed by Matt Reeves, "The Batman" takes place in the early years of billionaire Bruce Wayne's career as the masked vigilante Batman.
"It's about the early days of him being Batman and he's very far from perfect. One of the things that are interesting is learning how to be Batman. It's a criminological experiment. He's trying to figure out what he can do to change his place. He's seeing he's not having any of the effect he wants to have. That's when the murders start to happen and it opens up a whole new world of corruption," Reeves was quoted in a report by Entertainment Weekly.
Reeves said the upcoming film is a "detective story, a mystery, and action" all in one.
He added that his influences were 1970s classics "Taxi Driver" and "Chinatown."
"The Batman" was scheduled for a June 2021 release but has since been moved to October 1, 2021 following production delays caused by the pandemic.
