No face-to-face interaction at FDAC starting Monday, Aug. 24
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that there will be no face-to-face interaction at the Food and Drug Action Center (FDAC) starting Aug. 24 until further notice due to the rising cases of COVID-19.
“The alarming increase in the number of infections due to COVID-19 poses a threat to the health and safety of employees and clients of FDA,” the agency said in an advisory Saturday.
The FDA noted that only online transactions through email shall be entertained.
The agency said that there will be drop boxes with appropriate labels available at the main entrance of the FDAC where clients can deposit their documents, packages, parcels, and other related items.
“Please be advised that the New Normal Guidelines regarding the No-Contact Policy shall be posted at the FDA website on 24 August 2020, Monday,” it added.
