PCSO to resume selling 2D, 3D tickets in GCQ, MGCQ areas; ‘Peryahan,' STL still suspended

The selling of 2D Lotto and 3D Lotto digit games will resume in areas under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) starting next week, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

Issuing a public advisory on Aug. 21, PCSO announced that effective August 24, the selling of 2D Lotto and 3D Lotto digit games are scheduled to resume in GCQ and MGCQ areas nationwide subject to a new schedule.

There will be three draws in a day with different selling time and draw time. For the first draw, the selling time is from 7 am to 1:45 pm and the draw is at 2 pm. The selling time for the second draw is from 2:05 pm to 4:45 pm, while the draw is scheduled at 5 pm. For the third or last draw, the selling time will be from 5:05 pm to 8 pm and the draw time is at 9 pm.

Meanwhile, the PCSO said there were no winners in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 and Mega Lotto 6/45 games drawn at 9 pm on Aug. 21.

For the Ultra Lotto 6/58, the winning combination was 28 - 39 - 02 - 24 - 17 - 16.

For the Mega Lotto 6/45, the winning combination was 26 - 35 - 34 - 42 - 41 - 15.

PCSO emphasized that Small Town Lottery (STL) games remain suspended and “have not yet resumed.”

In a separate public advisory issued Aug. 20, PCSO also reminded the public “that to date, the operation of Peryahan Games remains suspended until further notice.”

This, PCSO said, was instructed by the Office of the President.

“We encourage those who have information and knowledge on the operations of Peryahan Games to report to law enforcement agencies near you,” PCSO added.

Last August 19, PCSO announced that the selling of tickets for lotto jackpot-bearing games such as Lotto 6/42, Mega Lotto 6/46, Super Lotto 6/49, Grand Lotto 6/55 and Ultra lotto 6/58, as well as the Online Keno and Sweepstakes has resumed in the National Capital Region (NCR), Bulacan, Cavite, and Rizal which were under the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) from Aug. 4 to 18.

As it resumed its gaming operations nationwide, the PCSO reiterated the health protocols - mandated by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) such as physical distancing and wearing of face masks or face shields - should be strictly observed.
