Given the current COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday advised passport applicants that only those who have booked appointments through https://passport.gov.ph/ and those who received confirmation from [email protected] will be allowed entry to the DFA- ASEANA in Parañaque City on their appointment date.

Before being allowed to gain entry, a copy of the appointment confirmation will be required to enter the premises.
“Those who wish to apply for a passport are required to make an appointment prior to visiting DFA ASEANA or any Consular Office. Please visit https://passport.gov.ph to set an appointment,” the DFA said in an advisory.
The latest DFA move to limit the number of applicants that can be physically accommodated in its consular offices was in response to the protocols issued by the Department of Health (DoH) for all workplaces.
The Foreign Affairs office implements health standards and protocols, which includes basic precautionary measures such as physical distancing, wearing of masks and face shields, and temperature checks to ensure the safety of all applicants and attending personnel and service staff.
It further reminded the public of possible logistical limitations due to community quarantines in certain areas nationwide and to expect some delays in the production, delivery, and availability of passports.
“Passport applicants are advised to prepare contingencies for their travel plans,” the DFA said.
To avail of courtesy lane services at DFA-ASEANA, applicants may make their appointment by email to [email protected] or online at http://passport.gov.ph.
