YouTube sensation Emman Nimedez died at 1 a.m. today, Aug. 16. He was 27.

The sad news was posted by his girlfriend, Peachy Santos, on Emman’s verified Facebook account. He died battling acute myeloid leukemia.

She wrote: “Our beloved Emman Nimedez joined our Creator at 1:00am today, August 16, 2020, Sunday. He was with his family during the time of his passing at St. Luke's Medical Center - Quezon City.

“Our family is thankful to everyone who offered prayers and showed support.

Funeral details will be announced in the next days. We hope everyone will respect the family's privacy to mourn the passing of Emman. Thank you.”

A couple of days ago, Emman was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital in “critical condition.”

Peachy asked for financial support then, saying big or small will help out.

“Kaya mo yan Mahal. Alam kong kaya mo. “

Yesterday afternoon, Peachy announced they needed donors “for PLATELET PHERESIS (O Positive) for emman.”

It was last May when the vlogger revealed he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.

The online content creator started making videos on YouTube in 2011 then became popular in 2017 after his parody videos went viral on the internet.

As of writing, he has 2.19 million subscribers on YouTube.
