Lawyer Larry Gadon became a trending topic on Twitter Saturday after he was spotted waiting in line in a grocery wearing his face mask in a unique way.

A photo snapped of Gadon looked innocent enough -- there was physical distancing observed and he had a face shield and face mask on. He was minding his own business as his head was bent down looking at his cell phone.

But if you look closely at the photo, you would notice that Gadon himself wasn't wearing any face mask as this was simply taped on to his face shield.

It was @TedPylon who posted the photos and he wrote, "Minsan ko nga rin palang nakasabay si Gadon mag-grocery. At oo, ganyan talaga mag-mask ang ungas (I saw Gadon at the grocery store once. And yes, that's how the idiot really wears masks)."

Netizens had a field day with the photos.

@KorteSupremo_ teased that Gadon was wearing a "hover face mask," while @poklong23 wrote that "Atty. Larry Gadon is indeed very smart."

Many questioned how Gadon managed to become a lawyer when he could not even wear a face mask properly.

"Gadon is such an inspiration. If this guy passed the bar, I mean," said @dannnnnnnyp.

"How did Gadon become a lawyer???" tweeted @kaBALyow.

Several others recalled how Gadon once called the opposition senators "bobo" (dumb) prior to the May 2019 elections where he ran for the Senate and lost.

@facundo57955416 said: "Gadon, famous for his 'bobo' remarks, seen plastering face mask on face shield."

"Sinong bobo ngayon (Who's the dumb one now)?" added @MikeDefensive.

@ChefTrishaC also tweeted, "If you think that you are dumb well, think again. There will always be a Larry Gadon (who is) indeed dumb!"

ABS-CBN host and weather anchor Kim Atienza even weighed in on the photo of Gadon: "Technically, Atty. Gadon is not wearing a mask. Anti-masker pala si Atty. parang sa (just like in the) States."

@lithlstar added, "That circulating photo of Larry Gadon wearing a face shield with a face mask taped inside it is fool-proof evidence that we are still indeed on the Phase Shield, while other countries are on Phase 2 or 3 of vaccine development. Perya o gobyerno? Naglolokohan na lang tayo (A fair or the government? We are just fooling ourselves)."

While majority of the comments are sarcastic and took jabs against Gadon, @kippyglue said she is "not gonna lie (NGL), (but) seeing this makes me kind of feel sorry for him."

@BautistaChrisha went a step further by encouraging other netizens: "Ipagdasal natin ang kaluluwa ni Gadon (Let us pray for the soul of Gadon)."
