In a Facebook post, Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso said the Veterinary Inspection Board (VIB) Animal Clinic is open for consultation and vaccinations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays.

The VIB Animal Clinic can accommodate up to 30 patients per day.

The city government decided to offer this service because pets are also part of one's family, said Domagoso, who is also a dog owner.

"Bahagi po ng ating pamilya kung ituring natin ang ating mga minamahal na alaga (We treat our beloved pets as part of our family)," he wrote in his post on Tuesday (Aug. 12).

"Salamat po sa VIB, sa pangunguna ni Dr. Nick Santos for all your efforts and service to the city (Thank you to VIB, led by Dr. Nick Santos for all your efforts and service to the city)," he added.
