The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) is set to launch a blood plasma drive from prisoners and personnel who recovered from coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Gabriel Chaclag told DZMM Teleradyo Friday.
(We have a project because we have a lot of recoveries. Maybe by next week, we invite you to our drive for plasma donation coming from our recoveries personnel)
The BuCor spokesperson said that they will also look into the persons deprived of liberty (PDL) who recovered from the disease if they could also donate plasma.
We will also look into our PDLs who do not have tattoos so they may also donate plasma),” he added.
Chaclag also assured the public that their COVID-19 interventions are continuously implemented.
He noted that the lessons they learned from the previous months guide them to manage the COVID-19 situation inside the prison.
(Now we manage it well, we are no longer like in the earlier months. This means that the health personnel are trained well and we also know the procedures.)
