“We will be in 25 out of 30 barangays already,” Robredo said in a Facebook post.

The Community Mart, an app-based store where consumers can purchase goods from the Pasig Mega Market, is limited to servicing those residing in San Miguel, Sta. Cruz, Katipunan, San Jose, Sta. Rosa, Buti, Kalawaan, Bambang, Kapasigan,Sto. Tomas, Sumilang, San Joaquin, Buting, Caniogan, and Bagong Ilog.

These are in addition to the barangays of Santolan, Kapitolyo, Manggahan, San Antonio, Dela Paz, Sta. Lucia, and Rosario, among others.

Robredo’s office launched the mobile app to help small vendors sell their goods online and have it delivered by tricycle drivers.

As of August 12, the sales generated from the online market in Pasig City have already reached P8.8 million.

“This translates to additional income not just for our small market vendors but also to the tricycle drivers of Pasig who deliver the goods,” Robredo said.

The vice president cited the “strong partnership” between her office and the local government of Pasig led by Mayor Vico Sotto for the e-market’s success.
