Two regional offices of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) based at Fisher Mall in Quezon City will resume skeleton operations tomorrow (Aug. 13) after undergoing thorough disinfection the other night for corona virus.

The disinfection followed after some five frontliners were found positive of the disease.
They are now under self-quarantine and working from home.
Revenue Regional Directors Albino Galanza of Quezon City and Romulo Aguilar, Jr. of East NCR advised all personnel as well as those from the Cubao revenue district office (RDO) which is also in the building to strictly observe social distancing and health protocols.
"In view of the continuing effort to defend against corona virus Revenue Regions 7A and 7B shall undergo an overnight disinfection," said the two officials in brief joint memorandum.
It added that as a "precautionary measure all work shall be suspended on Aug. 12 and regular working hours shall resume Aug. 13."
